Electronic Lab Data Reporting System Design
Windsor performed the development and implementation of a web-based application for the New Mexico Environment Department (NMED) to support the processing of samples from public drinking water systems in the state of New Mexico. The application consisted of a web-based front-end to support the scheduling of sampling activities and the capture of identifying information about specific samples taken. Laboratories responsible for analysis of the samples were able to retrieve information about those samples via a web-service available over the internet. The Sample collector system was designed to integrate with the SDWIS/State system, in common use throughout the U.S. The Drinking Water Sample Collector system was built using Java with an Oracle 10g DBMS, and was deployed in February 2009.
