Network Node Implementation
The Hawaii State Environmental Health Administration (EHA) received federal grant funds from the United States Environmental Protection Agency (USEPA) to participate in the National Environmental Information Exchange Network (Exchange Network). EHA partnered with Windsor Solutions (Windsor) to establish the administration's presence on the Exchange Network.
Windsor installed and configured its Microsoft .NET Exchange Network Node application and database within the EHA technical environment. Windsor and EHA also designed and implemented the Facility Registry System (FRS) data flow. Data managed in EHA's ONESTOP database was used to populate FRS submissions. Implementing the FRS data exchange allowed the Exchange Network Node to be properly tested and it positioned EHA to join the Exchange Network.
