Water Quality Data Exchange
Windsor supported the Port Gamble S’Klallam (Port Gamble) to identify and implement an affordable and maintainable solution that allows for their affective participation in the exchange network. Port Gamble wished to flow Water Quality Data utilizing the WQX schema and opted to utilize the OpenNode2 solution based upon Windsor's OpenNode2, open-source, National Environmental Information Exchange Network (Exchange Network) Node. The Tribal Water Quality Database (TWQD) was used for data management purposes.
The solution supports Port Gamble with the capabilities necessary to remit ambient water quality information to the EPA utilizing the Exchange Network, as well as providing Port Gamble with the ability to provide this information to other partners (e.g., State of Washington, Northwest Indian Fisheries Commission, etc.).
The TWQD application was developed and provided by the Northwest Indian Fisheries Commission, for the purposes of data entry and data management.
