Water Quality Data Exchange
Windsor partnered with the Lac Courte Oreilles Tribe (LCO) to identify and implement an affordable and maintainable solution that allows for LCO's effective participation in the exchange network. LCO wished to flow Water Quality Data utilizing the WQX schema and opted to utilize a Node Client solution based upon the same solution designed and built by Windsor for the Northwest Indian Fisheries Commission (NWIFC). The Tribal Water Quality Database (TWQD) is being used for data management purposes.
The solution supports LCO with the capabilities necessary to remit ambient water quality information to the EPA utilizing the Exchange Network, as well as providing LCO with the ability to provide this information to other partners (e.g., State of Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources, regional tribal organizations, etc.).
The Tribal Water Quality Database (TWQD) application was developed and provided by the NWIFC, for the purposes of data entry and data management.
