Waste Data System

The Michigan Department of Environmental Quality (MDEQ) Waste Management Division (WMD) wanted a regulatory oversight database to manage information about facilities that generate, transport, and manage hazardous waste in the State. In the first phase of this multi-phase project, Windsor Solutions integrated hazardous waste information from nine internal systems and an external EPA system into a single database.

Results that Reward

As part of the project, Windsor developed a data entry and reporting system and an automated data feed to EPA’s national RCRAInfo information management system. MDEQ contracted Windsor for a second phase, in which it integrated information from three additional regulatory programs into the application.
